It is a listed monument from 1785, brought from Brusturi, and free to visit.
About the place
The church was built in 1785 in the village of Brusturi, from sessile oak. The inscription above the door gives the date 4 May 1785 and the name of the master builder, Toadere. It is dedicated to the Archangels Michael and Gabriel and is a listed monument (code BH-II-m-B-01104).
The villagers used it until 1957, when they built a stone church. In 1961 it was moved to Oradea, to the courtyard of the Țării Crișurilor Museum, and after the museum building was returned to its former owner it was brought to Băile Felix in the early 1990s. The nave has a pointed-arch vault, rare in the region's wooden churches, and only fragments of the old paintings survive.
Good to know
